Primal Kitchen Food Products
So I set to work cooking up Primal-inspired salad dressings and condiments full of healthful, natural fats, superfoods, antioxidant-rich, high-ORAC-scoring herbs and spices—with no offensive, synthetic vegetable and seed oils and no artificial colors, flavors or fillers! The first product I set out to reinvent was mayonnaise—the holy grail of healthy fats. The complete lack of acceptable mayonnaise in-store today is appalling. Most options contain canola oil, soybean oil, sugar, HFCS… the list goes on. For Primal Kitchen Mayo, I chose to use one of my favorite superfoods – avocado oil – instead of canola or soybean oil. Combine that with organic, cage-free eggs, organic vinegar and salt and we’ve got one awesome tasting mayonnaise! Healthy mayo—who knew?
