Happy January 23, 2017! So happy to get back to blogging and would love to have you all follow and comment if you want. Made this Gluten Free recipe tonight and the family loved it. Portobello Mushrooms - so flavorful and delicious. I actually discovered this recipe on an app/subscription service I am trying out this month and I LOVE it so far. However, the above recipe is my photo and my twist on this recipe so I was inspired to take a photo and learn how to post a recipe on here and then make a recipe card. Still trying to figure out how to add a "print friendly" button, but that will come with time. So much I want to do, so little time! Anyhow, the menu planning app/website I am using so far for a week is RealPlans and it is AWESOME. Really cool concept. Does have a monthly fee, but I think this will be worth it with all this does. It totally puts a menu plan together based on your preferences, a time line, shopping list, and you can modify. So easy to shop with the app and check things off too! You can select a store you like to go to as well. Really awesome idea! And they have a Facebook user group too, so you can exchange ideas as well or make suggestions. I have been trying to figure out what I wanted to do for soooo long and finally settled on pursuing my Health Coach Certificate this year. So many awesome programs out there, but I decided to start my path with the Health Coach Institute. So, I am starting studying this week and will be able to take some of my first clients on by week 8. By the end of 6 months, I will have obtained my actual certification.
Anyhow, just felt it was a good thing to share what I am currently doing and hoping to build as time goes on. I've been so passionate about food and diet and fitness for so long, and decided that I should be working along these lines. So, stay tuned as I study and learn and I'll try to blog along the way and tell you my thoughts!
